Here’s another Winnipeg FM that I was able to hear by loosening the mast screws on Grandpa’s TV antenna and repositioning it from southeast to northeast! I believe CHMM was one of only five local FM stations in existence at the time. They played a variety mix of current hits and album cuts. This was recorded from Michigan, North Dakota using a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo unit and “fringe” TV antenna. Source tape is a TDK D90.

My brother used to work the night shift at CHMM and i was into the studio’s many times with him. The DJ is Paul Palace who worked shifts on CHMM and it’s sister station 68 CJOB(AM). Paul did news and on air.
