It’s that time of year again! Time for the McDonald’s 99 Cent Filet-O-Fish sale! Every February/March/April, McDonald’s cuts the price of it’s Filet-O-Fish, usually by 50% or more. This year is no exception. This sandwich is regularly priced at $2.69-2.99 in most areas, so 99 cents is quite the special deal. In previous years, the Lent/Easter Filet-O-Fish deal has come in the form of 2 for $2, 2 or $2.22, or Buy One Get One FREE. So, this is actually a better promotional special than it has been the past few years. Quite unusual in these times of rising food prices! No coupon or promo code is required to take advantage of this offer. Just look for the signs at most McDonald’s restaurants.

There is some “fine print”, however: apparently, the 99 cent Filet-O-Fish deal is only happening in select markets. In other areas, it takes the form of a 2 for $3 Filet-O-Fish spring special. Franchise restaurants may or may not be participating in this promotion. If you don’t see the signs, be sure to ask a McDonald’s crew member before ordering.

Offer valid for a limited time at participating locations. Usually, the Filet-O-Fish specials run in conjunction with Lent: they start on Ash Wednesday (February 22), running throughout March and until Easter Sunday (April 8.)
